What to Expect

Pelo Camp is situated in a genuine wetland area within the Okavango Delta, making it an ideal habitat for the elusive sitatunga and red lechwe. Hippos and crocodiles are frequent sightings, with the latter often spotted basking on the channel banks. During the dry season, keep an eye out for lechwe, impala, and elephants on the floodplains. The birdlife is extraordinary, with substantial populations of endangered wattled cranes, as well as slaty egrets, rosy-throated longclaws, African skimmers, and many other species calling this place home.

Highlights

Standard Twin/Double Tents
